Quick Fix — Use Anterior Stretches, Not Posterior Stretches:

• The best way to fix rounded shoulders is to skip the posterior shoulder stretch and instead, stretch your chest muscles: Stand facing a wall or in a doorway. Put the inside of one bent elbow against the wall, keeping your elbow level with your shoulder (#1 below). Relax your shoulders. Brace your arm against the wall while turning your feet and body away from the wall (#2). Fee the stretch in your chest, not your shoulder joint. Do this anterior stretch first thing in the morning, and several times during every day to help straighten your posture.
